The CEC Youth Health Centre
The CEC Youth Health Centre is committed to empowering the youth at CEC to promote, maintain or improve their own health and wellness through healthy lifestyle choices while providing a safe, inclusive and confidential space for youth.
Some of the services provided include:
- individual or group health (emotional, sexual, social) education and counselling
- mental heath and addiction support
- advocacy/social justice
- health promotion and prevention activities
- emotional regulation support
- free pregnancy tests
- referrals to outside services
Please Note: The Centre does not treat physical illness or dispense any medication. If you are in need of these services please see your family doctor or visit a Walk-in Clinic or Emergency Room.
